Dahmer tends to be the serial killer most closely releated to Bob Berdella. Both men have the most comonalities out of any serial killer tandem. Both men were homosexuals who would drug, torture, and sodomize young boys. Dahmer was known for occasionally eating his victims and engaging is necrophilia, although it is likely Berdella did the same no official evidence leads to it. In a similar fashion Berdella would dispose of his victims bodies with the trash, and Dahmer would put the bodies in barrels filled with acid to eat away at the flesh and bone. Both of these men were very peculiar and lived double lives. To those who new Dahmer and Berdella well, they would have never have imagined their deviant ways. Both men had overlapping murder sprees during the late eighties. Ironically after both men were sentenced to prison, they both were murdered from within the jail. Just like Berdella, Dahmer at times collected his victims skulls like his 1989 victim, Anthony Sears. Dahmer pled not guilty on the grounds of insanity similarly to Berdella who pled guilty in an attempt to avoid the death penalty. Both men tried to justify their crimes in court but both were obviously not of sound mind.
